The Murrumbidgee Catchment Management Authority is works in partnership with the Landcare community to tackle natural resource management issues faced by communities across the catchment.

The Murrumbidgee CMA is committed to supporting Landcare, with all Murrumbidgee CMA staff working closely with the Landcare Networks in project delivery and community capacity building, as well as providing support in the writing of funding applications including Environment Trust, Community, Water Grants and Envirofund.

The Chair of the Murrumbidgee CMA and senior management host quarterly meetings with the Chairs of the Murrumbidgee Landcare Networks, to encourage open communication on current issues and ideas.

Landcare Networks have been active in assisting the Murrumbidgee CMA with the development of the Murrumbidgee Catchment Action Plan.
