The Tarcutta Valley Landcare Group is active within the community and supports landholders throughout the catchment. The group is involved with ongoing works and maintenance of completed projects, including:

* Weed and groundcover control
* Fence repair and general maintenance
* Tree and shrub replacement
* Strategic grazing

The Group also implements on farm projects in partnership with the Murrumbidgee CMA.
These include:

* Biodiversity enhancement
* Remnant vegetation protection and revegetation
* Farm forestry
* River restoration and willow removal
* Salinity control and water quality improvement
* Erosion control
* Training days, farm demonstrations and trials
