Youth forums will be held at Hay, Balranald, Griffith, Wagga Wagga, Leeton, Tumut and Queanbeyan over the next 10 months, with a report to be prepared for the Murrumbidgee CMA Board by December 2008.

Around 35 Year 9, 10 and 11 students will participate at each of the forums from the above locations.

Conducted by the Murray Darling Association, the forums will allow people to explore thoughts on the management of the Murrumbidgee’s land and water resources.

The Murrumbidgee CMA wants to hear what students have to say about land and water issues, and listen to their views on managing natural resources in the catchment.
