The Murrumbidgee CMA delivers improvements to catchment health through four broad programs - river health, biodiversity, land, and community.
The Murrumbidgee CMA works in partnerships with local government, landholders, Landcare, Traditional Owners and community groups, government agencies and non-government organisations to carry out projects that contribute to the targets identified in the Murrumbidgee Catchment Action Plan.
Through our projects we use an innovative blend of on-ground experience, science and community engagement to address;
- Declining water quality
- Soil degradation
- Biodiversity loss
- Salinity
- Adapting to a changing climate
- Native vegetation management
